Why do I get a discount?

As with many products and services, the more units you purchase, the lower the price. Minimum purchase requirements will vary for each event. However, 15-20 tickets are generally considered a “Group”, whereby event promoters may provide a discounted ticket price. Certain events may not be discounted, but generally group tickets can still be purchased at full price, usually without a per ticket fee and minimal handling charges.

What is a Handling Charge?

A handling charge is added to an order to cover the cost of processing your order and sending the tickets to you. Generally handling charges are not more than $5.00 per order, a considerable savings if you usually buy through Ticketmaster.

What is a Credit Card Fee?

In order to provide you with the convenience of using a credit card to purchase tickets, WCgroups incurs a bank charge for each order that is processed. Sometimes event promoters do not cover this cost, and therefore WCgroups must charge you 3% of the ticket order. This is only for credit card purchases. If you wish to avoid this fee, you are welcome to pay by check or money order.

When I go through Ticketmaster I can choose my seats, why can’t I choose my seats using WCgroups?

Seats are pulled on a first come first serve basis or as a “block” of seats. When buying individual tickets through Ticketmaster, you pay extra for the computer technology to search for available seats in specific sections. You typically then pay $2-10 per ticket and a handling charge of $3-5 for the total order for such services. Group tickets are commonly provided at a discount or in advance of individual ticket sales. Group seats are generally processed without per ticket charges. WCgroups pulls tickets as soon as your order is received, assuring the best seats possible at the time of order. To ensure the best seats, order as early as possible.

What is Advance Sale?

On occasion, some events provide advance purchase opportunities to groups. This means you actually purchase tickets prior to the general public. This is your best chance to get the best seats in the house! Order your group tickets just as soon as you see the information posted.

How late can I place an order?

Typically the cut-off date for group tickets is 14 days prior to the event. If you would like to purchase tickets after the cut-off date, call us and we will try to accommodate your order. However, tickets purchased within two weeks of an event cannot be mailed to you, other arrangements will be made.
